All Star Terms of Service

Welcome to All Star! These Terms of Service are specific to the All Star game ("the Game"). This document supplements our general Vertex Terms of Service.

1. Account and Service Eligibility

Your use of All Star is governed by both these terms and the general Vertex Terms of Service. The general terms cover the core rules for your unified Vertex Account.

To create a Vertex Account and use the online features of All Star, you must be at least 13 years of age. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Virtual Items & Game Economy

The Game includes non-monetary items like points, badges, and other in-game boosts ("Virtual Items").

• You acknowledge that Virtual Items have no cash value and are non-transferable.
• We grant you a limited, personal, and revocable license to use Virtual Items within the Game only.
• All Virtual Items, including your total seasonal score, are reset at the beginning of each new competitive "Season".

3. Seasons, Leaderboards, and Rewards

The Game features two distinct public leaderboards, each displaying the top 100 players:

• Seasonal Leaderboard: This leaderboard tracks your total cumulative score within a single Season. At the end of the Season, top-ranking players are eligible for rewards (such as badges). This leaderboard and your total score are reset for every new Season.
• All-Time High Score Leaderboard: This leaderboard displays the highest single-game scores ever achieved. This leaderboard is for prestige only, does not reset with seasons, and has no rewards associated with it.

Vertex determines the rules and reward conditions for each Season. Our server records are the final authority in determining all rankings and rewards.

4. Parody and Commentary Disclaimer

The Game is presented as a work of parody and satire, intended for comedic effect and commentary on public figures and internet culture. The characters within the Game are intended as transformative caricatures for these purposes.

Vertex and the All Star game are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the public figures who may be depicted. No harm or disrespect is intended towards any individual.

5. Rules of Conduct and Fair Play

To ensure a fair environment, you agree not to:

• A. Cheat: Use third-party software (bots, hacks) or exploit bugs.
• B. Manipulate Data: Tamper with local game data or the data synchronization process.
• C. Use Inappropriate Names: Your username must not be offensive or hateful.
• D. Share Your Account: You are responsible for all activity on your account.

6. Enforcement and Penalties

Violating these rules may result in actions including a warning, reset of points, or termination of your access to All Star. For severe violations, we reserve the right to terminate your entire unified Vertex Account.

7. Our Supporters

All Star is an independent project by the Vertex team, made possible through the invaluable support of our community and partners. We extend our sincere gratitude to Gamekolik and all our other supporters for their material and non-material contributions that help us grow.

Our relationships with any of our supporters do not involve the sharing of your personal gameplay data. Their support is related to the promotion and improvement of the Game itself.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of All Star after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
